Who: Students grades 6-12
What: Social Skills Group is a small group counseling environment that helps students develop their social and organization skills through small group activities and instruction. Groups are taught by Mrs. Barta (emotional support teacher) and Mrs. Fair (guidance counselor).
Where: Room 127
When: 1x per week
Lessons and topics include but not limited to the following:
- organizational skills
- study skills
- anger management
- stress management
- test taking strategies
- career development
- social skills
- cooperation
- listening skills
- bullying
- friendship
- empathy
- manners
- communication skills
