Welcome to our school district's how to video training numbers begin training number 6 we will be looking at other at Microsoft Office application word excel are you looking at how much is a personal like a regular search bar allowing you to quickly find a right fool or command all you have to do is enter what you want and you'll be given a list of options you can use the command directly without having to find it on the ribbon you can even customize your copy of Word to make certain commands more convenient take the quick access toolbar in the upper left corner I'm sorry I give you access to frequently used commands like I do no matter where you are a Taurus man just click the tiny Arrow next to the toolbar and choose the ones you want I'm going to add new and also quick friends because I use both of these commands pretty take a look at the work area itself that's the space in the center where you actually create and edit document in this example in the bottom left corner you'll find your current page number and work down at the time you should see these make it easier to adjust your document and control and check or uncheck the box next to ruler in the bottom right corner you'll find a few more tools to let you change the way your documents display in or out number next to the slider you can also switch between different document is using these free icons read mode opens the document full screen he was great for reading large amounts of texts or simply reviewing your work I need layout is the default it shows you what the document will look like on the printed page let's lay out this place the document as a web page where to publish content to the web last but not least I'd like to give you a quick tour of the backstage view you can get there by clicking the bottle thing this makes it easier what you're looking for and review your options all in one place that covers the basics of Microsoft Word now that you're comfortable with the interface including the to search and you would search for the topic for example how to do a flutter how to add a header the quick access to for the drop-down bar do you need that maybe yes maybe no what do you want to change about it but it gives you an example how to change what's on the quick Barb walk through it and the option to do the QuikTrip to yours talks about the ruler the roller is key to many of your it's going to take us back to the beginning of these lessons and what you see is if we've completed less than one so be a check mark for us to view checkbook or indicate that we have completed less than 1 as you complete each lesson check marks will go beside each lesson as you can see here and this example less than one has been checked the same format what happened with word excel PowerPoint
