Microsoft Office Usernames & Passwords

Remembering your usernames and passwords is one of the many responsibilities students will have as they enter the Middle School.  Parents should know their children's usernames and passwords for any account they have to ensure their children are properly supervised during their teen years.  School usernames and accounts are no different.  In order for parents to view their child's assignments and lessons in Microsoft Teams, parents will need to use their child's account information to be able to successfully log in.  It is also important for student to know that they should only share their usernames and passwords with their parents ONLY.  Giving your usernames and passwords to your friends or anyone else will only get you into trouble.

Below is how the district usernames and passwords are created/assigned for their Microsoft Office 365 accounts.  If your child's username and password aren't working for you, it is likely that they changed it.  If that is the case, please ask your child what it is so you can successfully log in.  If you still can't login, please contact the school and the principal can reset their password.

Microsoft Office 365 Account Usernames & Passwords
Microsoft Office 365 usernames are created by taking their laptop username and adding @apolloridge.com to it.  Below is a table that will help you determine what your child's Microsoft Office 365 username would be:
Grade Microsoft Office 365 Email Address/Username
Sample 6th Grade Student John Smith [email protected]
Sample 7th Grade Student John Smith [email protected]
Sample 8th Grade Student John Smith [email protected]

Microsoft Office 365 passwords are defaulted to the student's first name (First letter capitalized) followed by their 6 digit birthday.  Below is a table that will help you determine what your child's Microsoft Office 365 password would be:
Student Name / Birthdate Microsoft Office 365 Account Password
John Smith / June 7, 2011 John060711

Students do have the option of changing their passwords.  If the username and passwords that you are trying don't work, try these options in order:
  • Ask your child what they changed their password to
  • Contact one of the District Computer Technicians for help resetting their passwords
