This video will provide you with directions on how to access your Apollo-Ridge School District (ARSD) MS Office365 account. Your account is used for many different applications at ARSD. Memorize your email address and password.

hello and welcome to the apollo-ridge school district how to video training I am Angel stall middle school and high school teacher Wendy's video training you will learn how to act your account with my login procedures James OneDrive OneNote zoom and I will mention some other office applications that have no train training for it that's begin with account access you may access your account from any computer or device that is working properly windows or apple desktop or laptop computer should work smart devices will also work as well including smart tablets and smartphones it can be iPhones iPads Android device has any of them should work I recommend that you use one of two brothers Chrome or Safari these are robust browsers in the majority of situations at this time I do not recommend you use Internet Explorer since it is not quite as robust as where Safari how to access your accounts whether you're meeting your school laptop in the building or within the district or outside of the districts such as your small sound smart tablet or maybe at the local community library or other location students are giving their own unique user ID this is your email address and this is also the login that you will use to log into devices within the school district didn't usernames are the first five letters of their last name and the year they are expected to graduate upon entering into the student's name is James Brown name is brown nj4 James called by your graduate apollo-ridge.com this is the email address he will use to access his e-mail as well as log into his computer Microsoft Office project Office 365 and any computers within the school district passwords passwords first name with a capital letter on by their lunch code for an example of James Brown would use the first initial capital J on the rest of his first name mes owned by younique lunch code there are a few exceptions when this does not apply when students have the same last name and first initial and additional letters may be found your students username and password is always available first day of school for the information is provided to them in their homeroom and on their schedule stop emails. Emails are usually their last name followed by their first initial and Apollo roost.com so if you are looking to contact a teacher within the district court administrator find their emails information on the school website or consider using the following naming structure go ahead and log in to Office 365 so let's take a look at accessing Office 365 on a desktop computer using Google Chrome in this situation I am using my home personal laptop which is a MacBook Pro yours may look a little bit different but the concepts are the same I have a shortcut on my docu station or Safari and Google Chrome but I also have a shortcut here which you will probably also find on most desktop computers including windows I click on Google Chrome to bring up the browser window and open it up to where we can search for what we are looking for we can click on the search for Paula Ridge or middle school whichever building you will be accessing your account from the first time and click on link the link will take you directly to the school building you are accessing the Apollo Ridge Middle School you can see that in the lower left-hand Corner we have Office 365 as a quick links Justice Paris or grading system and Study Island you click on Office 365 it's going to open up and take you directly to the sign in this is where you were signed into your account let's say for example you are at the high school we can search for Apollo Ridge High School find the website and on the high school website you will find Office 365 under students and parents and again this will take directly to the login I recommend that you would save as a bookmark your login information to do that you can just go up to the star and you can say mark this time it is going to ask you where do you want to save it to and you can stay Office 365 and bookmarks bar or you can create other folders for now. let's keep it at the top and you can see that I locked the top of our bookmarks bar we now have Office 365 and we can just click it here I recommend you do this on your personal laptops or desktops at home this will save you from needing to search for each time you want to access your account if you're on a public computer or device do not save it others will be using it and will not want to access this formation enough talk about sign-in now sign in this is where you're going to type in your username and password keep in mind your username and password it's probably similar to a student one wish would be for example Brown James graduating the year 2026 at Apollo ridge.com and then you would type next a my situation I am going to access the media center login and hit next password your password is going to be your first name with a capital letter followed by your launch code and then clicks sign in you receive a pop-up asking if you'd like to stay signed in you can say yes and not to show it again at this point are now brought up to the Office 365 main menu I'm here we will have the option of selecting Outlook which is email OneDrive which will give us access to all of the files we we saving on OneDrive cloud Microsoft Word for making documentation Excel for spreadsheets PowerPoint for presentations OneNote which words are personal classroom notebooks and SharePoint teams would every assignment this year for all of our students where they are in the classroom or doing e Academy or virtual school and we'll all be using teams for now we will not be talking about sway this is how you would log into your account whether you be using a desk computer a smart device or a smartphone you can login and access your account from anywhere because at this point everything is running through a browser as we continue on in this example I will be showing you how to access Google Chrome from a Windows desktop from a Windows desktop you may be able to access Google Chrome from 3 different locations on your desktop the first would be to look for the icon for Google Chrome down in your taskbar the other place would be from Google Chrome as a shortcut desktop third and final Place could possibly be over on your taskbar on your start menu when you click on the Windows icon which is your start button you will see Chrome you can click any one of the three to start Google Chrome what's Google Chrome is open you will see your browser the same as you did earlier in this video and at that point you will be able to log into your account from anywhere so does not matter if you are accessing your account on a desktop computer a laptop computer a smart device such as an iPhone iPad an Android phone or an Android tablet as long as you have access to a browser you are able to access your account from anywhere in the world once you are able to access the browser even in the day you will see that the search menu is the same and if you have saved your shortcuts on your bookmarks bar as I suggested you would be able to click on example this one are says Apollo Ridge Middle School and from Apollo Ridge Middle School we will go ahead and select Office 365 Emma reflect office 5 it's going to take us to the sign in again and you use the same procedures to login as we did earlier in this video and mine was the format for logging in is the same you will use your last name the first five letters of your last name first initial and the year you're expected to graduate so for example it could be Brown J for James the year 2026 it would just be the two digit number 26 at Apollo ridge.com and you would hit next password is going to be your first name with a capital letter followed by your lunch code in this example you can see that it's asking us do we want to save our password if this is your personal laptop computer your personal desk computer which is in a private home stay at Grandma's house if you're going to go to all the time or an aunt or Uncle Tom that you're going to go to all the time or your own person on at home it is okay to save it keep in mind however let's say that you are at the public library you would want to say never once you are ready to sign in you would get the pop off the set you want to stay signed in we can say yes and again we are going to be taken to the Office 365 main menu will we have access to all of the Microsoft Office applications that are available through Office 365 online from here you'll be able to access your email your OneDrive Word files Excel files PowerPoint OneNote notebooks and teams as we continue on we will discuss each one of those applications in a separate video when you are finished you will sure that you always sign out of your account that way nobody has access to your account to do that you go to the upper right hand corner of the web browser back on your picture or if it might just have your if you haven't changed your pictures it will show your account and you clicked sign out you never want to leave your account open for security reasons time to sign out once you are signed out go ahead and close your browser windows and sign out are training on how to access your account username pistol support services are available through the district website in YouTube videos thank
