2026 CHIP Flyer

The Apollo-Ridge School District is pleased to share information about Pennsylvania’s Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) with our families.

CHIP provides quality, comprehensive health insurance coverage for uninsured children and teens up to age 19 who do not qualify for Medical Assistance. Coverage can include routine doctor visits, prescriptions, dental and vision care, eyeglasses, mental health services, and other important health care needs.

No family earns too much to potentially qualify. For some families, CHIP coverage is free, while others may qualify for low-cost coverage.

We encourage parents and guardians to review the attached CHIP information to learn more about eligibility, benefits, and how to apply. Even if your child currently does not have health insurance, your family may qualify for CHIP.

Providing children with access to health care helps support their overall health, well-being, and success in school.
