WONDERFUL JOB a-rms! The Apollo Area Food Bank was here on to collect our outstanding donation of 1,027 nonperishable canned food items! That is amazing, we made our goal by a landslide! THANK YOU to the entire Apollo-Ridge Middle School School Community! Along with the canned food items, your Middle School teachers and staff donated $750 to the food bank! Thank you for all your jeans day money donations!
Now for the donut parties! The following homerooms won:
- 6th Grade Winner: Mr. Yonko’s homeroom won (and was 1st Place Overall) with 268 total canned food items
- 7th Grade Winner: Ms. Battistelli’s homeroom won with 125 total canned food items
- 8th Grade Winner: Ms. Stahl's homeroom won with 149 total canned food items
Congratulations to those homerooms. Way to show that Viking Pride and help support our community this holiday season. Thank you to the Middle School overall for helping to reach our goal and participating in a great cause.
