This past Friday, December 6, 2024, the Apollo-Ridge Middle School Band captivated audiences with their annual Winter Concert, showcasing their hard work and dedication throughout the semester. The performance, held in the high school auditorium, featured a diverse selection of holiday-themed music.
Under the direction of Mr. Gavin Virag, the band demonstrated impressive teamwork and skill. Highlights from the concert included the Star Spangled Banner, Apollo-Ridge Alma Mater, Tango Bells, Dark Adventure, African Bell Carol, Santa the Barbarian, Jingle Bells, Up on a Housetop, Casey's Last Run, Hard Rock Blues, and Ode To Joy.
Parents, teachers, and fellow students filled the auditorium, expressing their pride in the band’s growth and progress. "It's amazing to see how much they've improved since the start of the year," said one parent. "Their performance truly got us into the holiday spirit!"
The band’s winter concert not only displayed the students' musical talents, but also highlighted their ability to work together and create a memorable experience for all who attended. Well done A-RMS!!!!
