A-RMS… YOU ARE AMAZING! The Apollo Area Food Bank was here on to collect our outstanding donation of 626 nonperishable canned food items! That is amazing, we made our goal by a landslide! THANK YOU to the entire Apollo-Ridge Middle School School Community! Along with the canned food items, your Middle School teachers and staff donated $450 to the food bank! Thank you for all your jeans day money donations! Many families will get to enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner this holiday season!
Now for the donut parties! The following homerooms won:
- Mr. Yonko’s homeroom won 6th grade with 94 total canned food items
- Mr. Federici’s homeroom won 1st place (Overall) and for 7th grade with 115 total canned food items
- Mr. Daugherty’s homeroom won 8th grade with 54 total canned food items
Congratulations to those homerooms. Way to show that Viking Pride and help support our community this holiday season. Thank you to the Middle School overall for helping to reach our goal and participating in a great cause.
