On Monday, April 8, 2024 the Apollo-Ridge School District will be operating on an early release schedule
for students. High School and Middle School students will dismiss at 11:25 am and Elementary students
will dismiss at 12:25 pm. A brunch will be served as the meal at the elementary school, and breakfast only
will be served at the secondary buildings.

The purpose of the early dismissal is to ensure the safety of our students during the upcoming solar
eclipse, as well as provide families the opportunity to safely experience this historic event together. The

The dismissal is approximately three hours and five minutes earlier than normal dismissal times, so please
use that information to calculate approximate bus drop off times. These are the same release times that we
typically use on the last student day of school, and will plan to use again this year on Friday, May 31,
2024.
