Well A-RMS … you did it! You collected 1,367 food items to donate to our local Apollo Food Bank. What an amazing job! 7th grade brought in over half of our total with 763 canned food items. That is fantastic! THANK YOU 7th GRADE! Way to show your VIKING PRIDE MS!
And now for the homeroom final tallies:
In 6th grade Mr. Reese’s homeroom has 27 items, Ms. Cecchini has 29 items, Mr. Moore was in 2nd place with 73 canned food items and that leaves Ms. Cleveland’s homeroom with 161 items for the win! Congratulations!
In 8th grade we have Mr. Manifest with 2 items, Mr. Daugherty finishing with 75 items, Mrs. Miller’s homeroom in 2nd place with 88 items, leaving Ms. Reese’s homeroom in 1st place for the win with 182 items. Congratulations!
And the 7th grade class. Mrs. Mika’s homeroom brought in 46 items. Mrs. Ligo’s homeroom total was 188 canned food items. Mrs. Fisher’s homeroom came in 2nd place with 237 canned items leaving Ms. Grove’s homeroom to pull ahead for the win with 292 canned food items. What a contest 7th grade. Terrific job showing your VIKING PRIDE.
We were told today that our local food bank shelves were empty until they picked up our donations. So the food bank sends a very heart felt THANK YOU to you … Apollo-Ridge Middle School for helping to fill their shelves this holiday season. Many families will have a holiday dinner this year thanks to your donations. Thank you Middle School Students, from Student Council and our local food bank.
