Changing our reopening plan will cause the Middle School to recollect all of the 7th and 8th grade laptops to ensure they have the correct software needed to function properly. We would like each current 7th and 8th grade student to return their school issued laptops to the Middle School office Monday, August 24 through Wednesday, August 26 from 8:00am to 3:00pm. This will allow our computer technicians to complete the necessary updates. We will then schedule a day for students to pick up their laptops and yearbooks the following week (August 31-September 4). Those dates will be communicated at a later date.
6th grade students that do not have a school issued laptop already will be scheduled to complete a brief laptop orientation course here at the school during the week of August 31-September 4. The dates and times of the orientation sessions will be communicated later next week.
I would like to thank everyone for their flexibility and patience. I know this year will be full of unexpected changes, but we will strive to provide a quality virtual education for the students of Apollo-Ridge.
