The summer enrichment activities are designed to keep students academically engaged over the summer months. They will help reduce the "Summer Slide" where students may forget key concepts and ideas. Students are not required to complete these assignments and they will not be scored as part of a grade. Teachers do have the discretion to assign a small amount of extra credit to students who complete these assignments. This is a great way to keep students engaged over the summer and potentially earn a little extra credit to start the school year. You can find each grade level's Summer Enrichment activities and Suggested School Supplies list attached to this news event/article.
