Mitosis, Bacteria Lab & PSA Project

3/4/2020

1st: Students will be finishing up their Mitosis (cell cycle) notes. The end of the note-packet has a labeling activity that will will do as an entire class. The diagrams are given, the student have to label each phase properly. The next activity has the students drawing the correct diagram (picture) for each phase. If this activity is not finished, it becomes homework.

3 & 8th: Students will be working with their lab partners on the Microorganisms in our School lab. This lab has the students going around the school, swabbing for bacteria, placing their samples in agar dishes then in an incubator. We will analyze the results over the next few days.

4th: Today is the last day to work on the PSA Project in class; after today, the projects MUST be finished in 5th period.

HOMEWORK: 1st- Please finish your Mitosis phase drawings for tomorrow!
