1st Period: Students will finish their emoji dichotomous key at the beginning of class. Students will work on their Minions key independently and then place their answers to each question on the board as an entire class. We will start the Jelly Bean dichotomous key lab today and finish it tomorrow.

3rd & 8th: Students will continue on with their notes today; after making sure they have completed the wrap-up questions to the Jelly Bean lab. The notes will focus on taxonomy and binomial nomenclature.

4th: Students will take notes and complete their own cladogram in class. After successfully answering questions pertaining to the cladogram, students will start their Birdie Naming activity; using correct binomial nomenclature to identify and name various species of birds.

HOMEWORK: PLEASE BE ACTIVELY STUDYING! PERIODS 3,4 & 8 WILL TEST NEXT WEEK. (Depending on the time frame of notes, the tests will be either Wednesday or Thursday.)
