-Students will review the process of the cell cycle and Mitosis at the beginning of class- we will use this knowledge to jump into the phases of Meiosis.
-The students need to focus on these key concepts:
Mitosis - used for growth & repair of cells with 2 new identical body cells forming
Meiosis- create 4 new gametes are the end of the cycle that are not identical

-In class, students will create a Meiosis foldable that will show each step of the Meiosis cycle- students are required to know what happens during each phase and what the diagram for each phase looks like.
