1st: Students will be given the entire class period to create their cell analogy idea; they will be given a pre-writing assignment to help guide their ideas. The writing is to be 2 paragraphs in length and represent the cell with using a creative analogy.

3,4,8th: Students will be given the period to take their plant cell labeling and functions quiz. The last 10 minutes of class, I will introduce the cell analogy writing assignment; the students will be given a detailed directions sheet, along with the grading rubric.

HOMEWORK: All students need to be working on their cell analogy writing assignment; it is due on Dec. 13th!

3,4,8th: The plant cell crossword & functions review sheets are both due Monday (25th)!
