1st: Student will continue on with the cell theory and cell structure notes in class. Today, we will focus on how each cell organelle works independently and yet together with one another to help the cell function correctly.

3,4,8th: Students will finish up the last portion of notes on the cell membrane; after which, we will focus on going back and looking at each organelle and how it works independently and also with the other organelles. The students must be able to explain how a ribosome is made in the nucleolus and then travels throughout the cell. After we have reviewed, I will go over the animal cell organelle study guide. Students need the correct answers so they can use this to study with.


HOMEWORK:HOMEWORK: STUDY!!! Periods 3,4, and 8 will take their animal cell test on Friday!!! Every student from each class should be actively studying their note-packets each night! :)
4th- Please make sure your parents receive the 3D model cell packet- it needs to be signed and returned by the 13th! :)
