Students will read and answer questions from The Science of Zombies; this reading details how the rabies virus can simulate zombie like behaviors in humans.
-Once the students have finished the reading, they will work with a partner in surviving the zombie apocalypse!
-The activity focuses on using the plant cell organelles in the city that will be able to fend off invading zombies; the students must use their knowledge of the organelles to create their cities.
-Students will be given directions on how to create the dimensions of their cities and the requirements for the organelles, the rest is up to their creative imagination.
-The activity is broken down into 4 parts and will roughly take 4 class days to complete.
