Cheek Cell Lab

-Students will discuss the organelles commonly found in an animal cell, upon entering class.

- I will introduce the cheek cell lab, by showing a microscope picture example of what they are hoping to find on their own slides today.

-Students will read the lab procedures and lab purpose before obtaining all the necessary materials.

-Students will swab their cheeks to collect cheek cells and then complete the lab.

-There are pre-lab and post-lab questions that need to be finished before leaving class for the day.
